Did you know it takes about 3 years for grandparents to learn how to be parents again? Please consider joining us Sunday evenings to hear from our Foster Coalition team. We’ll be discussing all things surrounding the topic of Grandparents Raising Grandkids with a focus on trauma informed care. Speakers are Paul Berry, founder of Foster Coalition, and his wife Robbie. Trauma Informed Training + Resource Fair April 5, 2025
Doors open at 8:00 a.m., Conference begins at 8:30 a.m.
Foster Coalition is partnering with Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church to offer training at our trauma conference on April 5, 2025. This is available for anyone, especially those involved with the foster/childcare community. Continuing education certificates will be provided for Alabama social workers and foster families. Training certificates will be provided for teachers, counselors, and all others.
Cost: $20 per family
$20 per individual professional
